Thanks to everyone who attended iLite and made it such a great event. We’re looking forward to the next event in 2011!

During the weekend we have many different fun events and tournaments running!
We’ll be hosting big games of the popular and recent titles such as TF2 and Bad Company 2, as well as some older classics such as Trackmania Nations and Counter-Strike Source.
Not only that but we’ll also have some fun tournaments running across the weekend such as Super Street Fighter 4 on the Xbox360, which you’ll just be able to hop in and play, even if you’ve never played before!

We understand that you’re going to want to spend some of the weekend away from your computer.
Because of that, we’ll be running some activities that don’t involve being sat in front of a screen, such as our world famous Pub Quiz on the Saturday night, and we’ve also got a dedicated quieter area for relaxing with board and collectable card games.

Today we’re pleased to confirm what will be on offer to eat and drink over the iLite weekend.
For those of you familiar with our iSeries events at Newbury, you’ll know about Green’s of London and their selection of food.

We’ll have the restaraunt open at the end of the Long Room, serving food and drink from 9am to 9pm, and alcohol through to 1am!

There will be Full Breakfasts served from 9-11am and a great selection of meals for lunch and dinner along with Vegetarian options.

For those of you over the age of 18 there will be a selection of draft lagers, ciders and Real Ales, as well as a good choice of spirits and wines.

Today we’ve launched our next StratLAN event, held at Stratford Racecourse from 6:00pm Friday 2nd July – 6:00pm Sunday 4th July 2010.
Every StratLAN is unique, with its own memorable moments and great gaming. If you miss it, you’re missing an experience that you won’t necessarily find again.

We’ve now got our Early Bird promotions running with StratLANs! Get your StratLAN July 2010 ticket before the 2nd of June and it’ll only cost you £32!

If you’re new to StratLAN, now’s a perfect time to get involved. StratLAN is famed for its warm, friendly atmosphere – welcoming to newcomers and veterans alike. If you’ve never been to a Stratlan before it’ll take about 20 minutes for someone to say hi and from that point in you’re part of the group.

Obviously StratLAN is still a LAN at heart and an unhealthy amount of time is spent playing games.
Because there are much fewer people than at an i-Series, it is easier to organise and people are always willing to try out new games.
It’s not uncommon for someone to shout out the name of a game and to have everyone in the room join the server!
The event is a “bring-your-own-booze” affair and so, if you’re over 18, you can bring all the beer you want to drink at your desk or in the social area!

Some of you who attended i39 will have seen the Multiplay Ultimate Gamer stand in the exhibition hall, running all kinds of crazy tournaments and competitions as well as a load of hardware running freeplay of the latest game. After the success of this, we’ll be bringing the same team to iLite to run some awesome activities to entertain all involved, and there might even be some interesting prizes up for grabs!

So what is iLite? Well, the world famous Multiplay i-Series has been busy with StratLAN, our small community based LAN, cooking up a little surprise for gamers everywhere! The result is iLite; a smaller version of i-Series but only in size, not in awesomeness.
